  2. Deleting Documents

  4. When deleting stored documents within the editor, no text files external to the editor (on your hard disk) are affected; only the contents stored within the editor are deleted.

When deleting more than one stored document from the Index card using the Delete Selected command, you will be asked to confirm each document's deletion, unless the document is empty. If you wish to skip these confirmation prompts, hold down the Option key while choosing the Delete Selected command.

  8. Note that while HTML.edit will never delete text files from your hard disk, it does have the ability to overwrite an existing text file when using the Export command.

  10. Back to Index, on to Editor Window, or return to HTML.edit Features.
